Melbourne Vs Sydney Soccer
Went to the soccer, not coz i love it, just coz i fancied doing something out of the ordinary. It was boring as fuck but there’s something to be said for sitting in a huge arena with 50,332 other people (the largest Soccer crowd ever in Austrian history) that does make your head and feet tingle a little. I spent most of the game sitting thinking about stuff, funny place for quiet time i agree but as i said theres a trippy energy sitting in that amount of people.
The Score
Well after 90 minutes of day dreaming and quiet introspection amongst 50,000+ punters, the game finally came to a close with a 0/0 draw. Quite tedious indeed. However we went our for a few beers afterwards and I managed to get totaly pissed, suffering on saturday with a very non mild hangover. Hangovers are fine on a nice cool where you can stay in bed and cry into your pillow, NOT however on a day when it’s 32ยบ in the shade as it was on saturday.
