Cut Copy + Midnight Juggernauts @ Billboard
Had a pretty quiet New Years with Me (e) Tanya, Brent on (e), Nick and Kate (e). Went to Bilboard to see Cut Copy and Midnight Juggernauts had a wee dance, felt like i am an old fart as Bilboard tends to be full of teen porn stars, great to look at but not very much substance ha ha. however we did have a fun night.

Xmas chat
Had a petty chill-some xmas this year, remained in melbourne and had a traditional Australian xmas BBQ. Ash and Miki came over we ate drank champagne and bantered about all sorts of shit including my current hypothesis that cancer is an invaluable asset to human evolution. some of her palls popped over but they were very munted having not yet been to bed so the conversation was thin, they ten left and we retuned to the topi of pedophilia. all good topics of conversation on the alleged day of the birth of the son of god.

Went to Bunnings ( a diy store) to get a few bits and bobs, bought all i needed which included 2 cans of Expandable Foam, its like cheese in a can that turns to concrete upon contact with air in about 10 minutes. it was a fekin hot day and the short drive home was eventless until that is i opened the back door to the car and picked up the cans of Boskit Foam. one of the cans decided to explode in my face covering me with the nasty contents, obviously this is the point your start to giggle but i can assure you i was far from giggling when i stumbled into the house head to toe in this shit. tried to remove it with soap and water which inevitably made it worse so managed after about 5 minutes searching to find an old bottle of turps which we used to scrub 80% of the shit off. the rest of which by this point had set into concrete and had to be removed by peeling off the skin, pretty tedious when yo think I’m a wee bit of a hairy monkey. Wrote a letter to bostik complaining about the incident and am currently awaiting a response, watch this space.

Brent said this to me today in relation to the very dry summer we are experiencing and I laughed very hard, so I thought I’d share it with you.
It’s been as dry as a nuns nasty!
Brent and I went to the corner hotel to see Midlake the band from the USA. Jesus their good. kind of a modern mix of Fleetwood Mack meets The Beatles with a hint of indie rock. They had stunning live harmonies, great melodies nice visuals all the way through the set that were choreographed to the tunes they were playing. All in all a great night.

Went to the soccer, not coz i love it, just coz i fancied doing something out of the ordinary. It was boring as fuck but there’s something to be said for sitting in a huge arena with 50,332 other people (the largest Soccer crowd ever in Austrian history) that does make your head and feet tingle a little. I spent most of the game sitting thinking about stuff, funny place for quiet time i agree but as i said theres a trippy energy sitting in that amount of people.
