Ils gig @ the Espy
Went to the Espy Hotel to se Ils, a UK DJ and Musician. more to come…
Well i finally got some time to write this banter, its been a while so i may be a little vague.
started off in the George Win Bar where andy and myself met Brent and Amelia, we also met the wayward Mr Lampell who had been in NZ for quite some time, he looked well and was sporting a cheifton of a beard. nice work Nick.
We had a few drinks then moved off to the Espy where Ils was due to play a set for us. unknown to me nick had a little bag of Fresh Philosopher’s Stone
Philosopher’s Stone
truffles are technically not mushrooms and do not look anything like magic mushrooms; they’re closer to muesli or breakfast cereals.
Psilocybe mexicana is also known as the truffle or Philosopher’s Stone. This hallucinogen will give you a stoned, psychedelic, philosophical, happy and visual trip. Psilocybe mexicana truffles are a very good alternative to magic mushrooms for first time users, because they give a good feeling and it is an easy controllable trip compared to other psychedelics. The psychedelic and euphoric effects will last for 3 hours, after which these effects will make place for a stoned effect of another 3 hours.
This Psilocybe mexicana truffle is a euphoric psychedelic (hallucinogen) and contains psilocin and psilocybin. Because of the different effects of this truffle, compared to other Psilocybe magic mushrooms other psychedelic alkaloids are suspected to be present. Philosopher’s Stones only contain about 50% water. That’s why these fresh truffles will stay OK for several months when stored in the fridge.
so we hoed into them, brent then brought out a pill all crushed up in a wee bag. im not into pills anymore so didn’t partake, well i had a wee dab but thats all.
The music
Ils set was fantastic. its a shame it was so quite, he played a set for about 4 hours and i didn’t notice a record change once, very talented and high by the look of it.
Ginger Bird
There was a ginger bird there, i saw her early on in the night but took little notice of her, apparently she was eying me up big time, as usual i was completely oblivious to this, not that i would have done anything with a ginger anyway (he he) but its always nice to get a wee compliment.

Thats pretty much it. got some funny photos s you can see above, what’s with brent’s 2000 chins? went home and slept till i woke.
